Bargain Bear respects and protects your privacy!

Bargain Bear is a free service that provides its users with email-delivered updates about offers and deals provided by third-party retailers.

Bargain Bear will only send email to people who have signed up for one or more of the Bargain Bear email newsletters (for example "Bargain Bear Alert").

Bargain Bear users may at any time cancel subscriptions to Bargain Bear newsletters. All Bargain Bear newsletters contain instructions on how to cancel a Bargain Bear newsletter subscription.

Bargain Bear collects two kinds of information about its users: Anonymous and Personal.

Anonymous information refers to data that cannot be tied back to a specific individual who has visited Bargain Bear's web site bargainbear.com. Such information includes the visitor's I.P. address, the time of the visist, the pages viewed during the visit etc.

Personal information is data that tells us specifically who you are. The only personal data that Bargain Bear collects about its users is data that users voluntarily submit to Bargain Bear, either by signing up for one or several of Bargain Bears email newsletters, or by contacting Bargain Bear through some other means.

The only personal information collected when a user signs up for a newsletter is the user's email address. The user is neither required nor encouraged to submit any other information for purposes of subscribing to one of Bargain Bears email newsletters.

Bargain Bear may use cookies. A cookie is a small text file containing a unique identification number that is transferred from a Web site to the hard drive of your computer so that the site administrator may identify your computer and passively track its activities on the Web site. This unique number identifies your Web browser to our computer system whenever you visit Bargain Bear's web site. A cookie will not allow a Web site to learn any personally identifiable information (such as your real name and address) that you have not otherwise disclosed.

Bargain Bear will not allow third-party access to the email addresses of Bargain Bear newsletter subscribers. Bargain Bear will not sell, trade, lend, lease, rent or otherwise allow a third party use of, or access to, lists of Bargain Bear subscribers, except when required by law.
